Summary
One in this syndicated series compiling sketches from the CBS comedy/variety program, "The Carol Burnett Show," hosted by Carol Burnett and featuring Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, and Lyle Wagoner. On this program, Carol Burnett's featured guests are comedienne Lily Tomlin and singer Steve Lawrence. Highlights include: Tomlin does a sketch about a woman on a date, waiting for her computer-selected escort to return to the table and wondering why he hasn't come back yet considering she is an attractive woman and not out of the ordinary; in the next sketch, Burnett plays a woman recently married to a Mafia godfather (played by Steve Lawrence) whose honeymoon is interrupted by an unexpected guest (Harvey Korman) who doesn't seem to care much about the honeymoon; and in the final sketch, entitled "Caged Women," Tomlin portrays the warden of a women's prison which has just gotten a new inmate. Commercials deleted.
