
M*A*S*H {MASH}: GOODBYE, RADAR {PART 1 OF 2} (TV)
Summary
Part one of two. One in this series of comedy programs about the men and women of the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M*A*S*H), stationed behind the lines during the Korean War. In this episode, the members of the 4077th are overjoyed to see Radar return from his leave in Tokyo after their generator breaks down, stranding them with no electricity. Klinger, who had been filling Radar's shoes, had been unable to find a replacement for the much-needed piece of equipment. Radar thinks it will be easy to get, but soon finds himself drowning his sorrows in grape Nehi when he cannot accomplish his mission. Then Col. Potter receives a telegram stating that Radar's Uncle Ed has died. Potter informs Radar that he may return to the States on a hardship discharge, but Radar does not seem too keen on the idea. Commercials deleted.
