Summary
One in this comedy series about entertainer Danny Williams and his family. In this episode, Uncle Tonoose insists that Danny persuade his cousin Stephen not to pursue a career in show business. Tonoose arrives at the Williams' apartment with Danny's Aunt Sophie and cousin Stephen, explaining that he and Sophie are inconsolable because Stephen wants to leave the family dry goods business for a singing career. Danny agrees to discourage the young man -- until he hears him sing. Commercials deleted.
(This series aired on ABC as "Make Room For Daddy" from 1953-1956. Starting in the fall of 1956, the title was changed to "The Danny Thomas Show," and the series continued its run as such, on ABC, through the 1956-1957 season. "The Danny Thomas Show" switched to the CBS network in the fall of 1957, where it continued its original run through September 1964. CBS then continued airing the series, in reruns, during April-September 1965. Additionally, NBC broadcast reruns of "The Danny Thomas Show," under the title "Make Room For Daddy," during 1960 -1965.)
