Summary
This drama examines the problem of racism and its terrible consequences. Set in modern Germany, the story focuses on the relationship between a German high school student, Alex, and his Turkish girlfriend, Aysche, who become the targets of violent neo-Nazi youths. When Alex begins to spend a great deal of time with his new girlfriend, his best friend, Martin, feels rejected and blames Aysche for monopolizing his friend's attention. Eventually, at the urging of another student, a neo-Nazi organizer named Rudi, Martin vents his anger through ethnic racism. He also falls under the influence of a right-wing teacher and is soon involved in violent attacks on Alex, Aysche, and other foreign students. As the brutality escalates, the foreign students unite to protest their treatment and Martin is asked to perform an ultimate act of violence to prove his loyalty to the extremist faction. In German with English subtitles.
