Summary
One in this series of educational programs focusing on the visual and performing arts. Hosted by unorthodox magicians Penn & Teller, each episode features a guest artist. In this episode, Robert Gil de Montes helps Penn & Teller show how color affects the mood of an artist's painting. The artist demonstrates how he approaches his work and creates a painting using colors he saw in some flowers and colors that remind him of his childhood experiences. Other highlights of this program include the following: Penn & Teller show how colors change their appearance throughout the day due to changes in light; a montage of paintings that use color to create a mood; and graphic artist Marilyn Ono uses a computer to show how colors are created, used to show depth, and used to tell a story.
