MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS: WHITE LIGHT {PART 1 OF 2} (TV)
Summary
The first of two programs on this tape. One in this children's action/adventure series about five teenagers chosen by interdimensional being Zordon to morph into powerful warriors in order to protect the world from the evil forces of witch Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd. In this episode, the Rangers are excited to learn that Tommy is soon to return home, and hope to plan a surprise party for him. Meanwhile, Lord Zedd has his own surprise planned for Tommy, the former Green Ranger, while Skull and Bulk search for a sign of the whereabouts of the Power Rangers. That "sign" comes in the form of a crashed device, containing Rita's mini-space dumpster. Later, when Zack discovers some of Zedd's "handywork," they attempt to contact Zordon but are unable, feeling that something must be wrong. Teleporting to the command center, they find it shut down and without Alpha and Zordon. Then, Zedd activates the Scarlet Sentinel -- Nimrod, a monster he hopes will finish off the Power Rangers. With the Rangers on the verge of defeat, Billy returns to the command center where he finds a secret room hidden behind a stream of white light. Inside, Alpha and Zordon are creating a mysterious new Power Ranger. Commercials deleted.
