Summary
One in this series of sketch comedy programs starring Bob Odenkirk and David Cross. In this installment, Senator Tankerbell illustrates his opposition to federal arts funding by telling a protracted, vulgar joke about a travelling salesman and a farmer's daughter; Tankerbell expresses regrets that he is unable to carefully monitor "Mr. Show," as he is busy censoring innocuous crafts at a rural folk arts festival; religious broadcasts on the What To Think (WTT) network feature a homosexual who inspirationally repents his "sinful" ways between bouts of debauchery; Jesus fires his little-known thirteenth disciple, Marshall, who displays the personality of a late night infomercial huckster; corporate monstrosity Globo-Chem receives an image makeover with a new animated spokesman called Pit Pat; and Mr. Show gets on Tankerbell's good side with a lavish musical version of the senator's joke.
