Summary

One in this series of dramas about the day-to-day running of the White House and the lives of its staff. In this episode President Bartlet and his staff prepare for the State of the Union address. Bartlet collapses suddenly in his office and is diagnosed with influenza. The president's rest and recovery are put on hold temporarily when an India-Pakistan nuclear-arms crisis erupts. Leo faces a fiasco in the press as his past problems with substance abuse become public. The first lady delays her travel plans as the President's medical crisis appears to be more serious than the flu. Commercials deleted.
