THIRD WATCH: SEPTEMBER 10TH (TV)
Summary
One in this dramatic series following the daily work of a crew of firefighters, paramedics, and police officers on the 3:00 to 11:00 p.m. shift. This episode opens with a time and date stamp -- 9:15 PM on September 10, 2001. Sullivan and Ty live it up in Atlantic City the night before Sullivan's wedding. Back at the station, everyone watches the Monday Night Football game between the Denver Broncos and the hometown New York Giants. As the wee hours of September 11 roll in, Faith and Fred have trouble sleeping as they fret over her cancer biopsy the next morning; Jimmy can't stay awake due to the rigors of taking care of his son Joey; and Bosco meets a woman at a bar. Also, a series of false alarms at the same location continue to be called in to the station. As the 9:00 AM hour approaches, Faith and Fred are in the doctor's office; Sullivan and Ty fight off hangovers in the hotel lobby; Bosco wakes up in the unfamiliar apartment of the woman from the night before; and Kim continues to battle her depression. The episode ends with Bosco hearing the sound of a loud crash and moving to the window to see what happened. Commercials deleted.
