BROTHERS & SISTERS: VALENTINE'S DAY MASSACRE (TV)
Summary
One in this drama series about the California-based Walker family, an adult clan of siblings trying to live up to their parents' lofty expectations after the death of the family patriarch.
This episode begins in the aftermath of Valentine's Day. Kitty wakes up startled to find that she slept with her boss, Senator Robert McCallister. Kevin slept with his ex-boyfriend, Scotty, and Justin slept with his ex-girlfriend, Tyler. Meanwhile, Nora finds herself in police custody.
The narrative then flashes back twenty-four hours to show how each family member got into their particular conundrum: Kitty, in the midst of a "man fast," goes with the senator to meet a billionaire campaign contributer in San Diego; Kevin, still having an affair with bisexual soap star Chad, grudgingly agrees to attend a party thrown by Chad and his girlfriend --who sets Kevin up with her gay buddy; Justin, dateless and not happy at the prospect of spending the evening with his mother, agrees to babysit Sarah's children; and a depressed Nora eats at a nice French restaraunt with her pot-smoking buddy Emily.
Sarah and Tommy struggle over whether to buy a winery for the family business, and the senator tells Kitty of his political ambitions. The episode ends back in the present, with each member of the Walker family dealing with the effects of their Valentine's Day crisis, and a rift pending over the upcoming vote on the winery. Commercials deleted.
