Summary
One in this series of live dramas. Part one of this adaptation of the Rudolf Bezier play concerning the love affair between poets Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning. Barrett has led the life of a near invalid due to ill health and the domination of her stern father. Browning begins to court her and she falls in love with him. Complications arise when Elizabeth must break away from her father in order to marry Browning. Elizabeth plans to run away with Browning without telling her stern domineering father. Includes commercials. (This is a black-and-white copy of a color telecast.)
