Summary

One in this dramatic anthology series hosted by Alfred Hitchcock. Mrs. Bixby leaves New York and her poor husband for the weekend under the pretense of making her monthly visit to an aunt in Baltimore. Her visits, however, have been to "the Colonel," a wealthy aristocrat she has been seeing for eight years. On this visit the Colonel terminates the affair and gives Mrs. Bixby a fur coat too expensive to bring home.
