Summary
Episode three of this eighteen-hour drama, presented under the umbrella of "ABC Novel for Television," about the experiences of U.S. Navy officer Victor "Pug" Henry and his family from 1939 to 1941. In this portion, Pug meets with Mussolini; Pug is granted an interview with Hitler; and Rosenthal, the Jew who rents his house to Pug so that the Germans will not confiscate it, beseeches Pug to give him money. Natalie visits her dying father in Florida; Germany attacks France and Winston S. Churchill becomes British Prime Minister in 1940; Byron visits Natalie in Florida and she agrees to marry him; and Warren Henry is married, with his family and Natalie in attendance. Includes commercials.
