COLUMBO: DEATH LENDS A HAND (TV)

Summary

One in this series of police dramas in which Los Angeles homicide detective Lt. Columbo's unassuming manner masks his keen intelligence and sharp investigative abilities. In this episode, Kennicutt, a wealthy newspaper publisher, hires Brimmer to investigate and expose his wife's affairs. But Brimmer tries to blackmail Mrs. Kennicutt for information that her husband knows, and when she refuses to cooperate, Brimmer kills her in a fit of rage. Unwittingly, Kennicutt hires Brimmer to work alongside Lt. Columbo in the subsequent murder investigation. Commercials deleted.
