LEAVE IT TO BEAVER: THE HAIRCUT (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series about the Cleaver family -- Ward and June and their two sons, Wally and Theodore, also known as "the Beaver." In this episode, Wally offers his services as a barber when the Beaver misplaces his haircut money. Having lost his lunch money three times in the past week, Beaver is scolded by his father and given one last chance to prove that he is capable of handling cash. Sent to get a haircut for the school production, where he is to play an angel, Beaver arrives at the barbershop, fishes in his pocket -- and realizes that his money is gone. Afraid to tell his parents, Beaver hides in the closet and tries to give himself a haircut. Wally lends a hand and proceeds to chop off most of Beaver's hair. As the brothers go to extraordinary lengths to hide Beaver's bald head, Ward and June grow suspicious. Commercials deleted.
