A Conversation with Yoko Ono
6:30 PM ET
For over fifty years Yoko Ono has been a groundbreaking multimedia artist and social activist, constantly challenging traditional assumptions. She will review many of her most defining works, including her pioneering experimental films and performance art. Yoko will also reflect on her 1969 peace projects with companion John Lennon, notably their Bed-Ins for Peace and the "War is Over! If You Want It" campaign. In addition, she will discuss her latest book, Yoko Ono Infinite Universe at Dawn, which brings together work across all media and six decades.
Special for ticket buyers: Come early at 5:30 pm be one of the first to view prints of the Infinite Universe collection from Yoko Ono's new signed, limited edition book: Yoko Ono Infinite Universe at Dawn. Ono's print series celebrates her entire career with 12 large format archival giclées.
SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY: Yoko Ono's interactive artwork Wish Tree (1996) will be in the Spielberg Gallery for this event. We invite you to add your wish to the tree. Wishes will be collected and sent to the Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland.
