New York, NY, December 2, 2025 – The Paley Museum, where media, sports, gaming, and entertainment come together, announced its final PaleyLive program for 2025 – Stranger Things – The Final Season Celebration. The highly anticipated evening, which will feature a behind-the-scenes conversation with members of the cast and creative team, following a screening of an episode from the final season, is part of The Paley Museum’s 50th anniversary celebration and will take place at the Museum’s Midtown Manhattan location at 25 West 52 Street at 6:30 pm
“Over five seasons the intrepid teens of Hawkins, Indiana, have heroically battled strange and mysterious forces, thrilling fans worldwide, and we are honored to celebrate the final season of this global phenomenon at The Paley Museum,” said Maureen J. Reidy, President & CEO, The Paley Center for Media. “We look forward to welcoming fans for what promises to be an unforgettable evening, and we extend our tremendous thanks to our friends at Netflix for their continued support.”
The final season of Stranger Things is set in the fall of 1987, where Hawkins stands scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and the show’s heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished—his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. The final battle is looming—and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything the heroes have faced before. To end this nightmare, they will need everyone—the full party—standing together, one last time.
The Paley Museum will screen the final episode from Volume One, followed by a behind-the-scenes conversation with Matt & Ross Duffer, Creators, Writers, Directors, & Executive Producers; Millie Bobby Brown “Eleven”; Finn Wolfhard, “Mike Wheeler”; Gaten Matarazzo, “Dustin Henderson”; Caleb McLaughlin “Lucas Sinclair”; Noah Schnapp, “Will Byers”; Natalia Dyer, “Nancy Wheeler”; Charlie Heaton, “Jonathan Byers”; Maya Hawke, “Robin Buckely”; Jamie Campbell Bower, “Vecna”; David Harbour, “Jim Hopper”; and moderator Perri Nemiroff, Senior Producer, Collider.
Those in attendance will also have an exclusive chance to win a Stranger Things keepsake.
Volume 1 of the fifth and final season is now streaming on Netflix. Volume 2, featuring three episodes, will begin streaming on Christmas Day, and The Finale will begin streaming on New Year’s Eve. Each upcoming volume releases at 5:00 pm PT.
