Los Angeles, CA-The Paley Center for Media announces the long-awaited DVD release of its 2008 PaleyFest Buffy the Vampire Slayer reunion panel. A decade following the series premiere, creator Joss Whedon joins cast members Sarah Michelle Geller, Seth Green, Amber Benson, Nicholas Brendon, Charisma Carpenter, Emma Caulfield, James Marsters, and Michelle Trachtenberg along with series writer/producers David Greenwalt and Marti Noxon for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of the most revered, iconic, and deconstructed television series of all time.

Priced at $19.95 each, the DVD is available now exclusively online at http://www.paleycenter.org and will also be available at the Cinerama Dome at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood for the duration of this year's PaleyFest09 (April 10-23). This DVD features an introduction by show creator/executive producer Joss Whedon; behind-the-scenes anecdotes by Sarah Michelle Geller, Seth Green, James Marsters, and other participating cast members; fan questions to the participating panelists; and PaleyFest08 backstage photos and video. All proceeds from the sale of these DVDs benefit the Paley Center.

PaleyFest is an extraordinary interactive pop culture event, connecting fans with the casts and creators of their favorite series as well as the icons who have changed or are changing the face of media. Named for William S. Paley, founder of both the Paley Center and CBS, PaleyFest continues its twenty-sixth year tradition of celebrating the collaborative creativity behind making great entertainment content-from the genesis of an idea to that vital connection with audiences the world over. PaleyFest evenings include a screening of highlights from the honored series followed by a panel discussion with members of the cast and creative team. Next month's Festival honors the casts and creators of 90210; Battlestar Galactica/Caprica; The Big Bang Theory; Big Love, Desperate Housewives; Dollhouse; Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog; Fringe; The Hills; It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia; The Mentalist; Swingtown; and True Blood. Tickets are now available at paleycenter.org for most events. These PaleyFest evenings, as well as all Paley Center public events, are also part of the collection, and are available for viewing in both New York and Los Angeles.
