Summary
The pilot for this series of children's programs starring madcap host Pee-wee Herman, featuring animation, puppets, and vintage cartoons. Highlights of this program include the following: Pee-wee introduces Conky the robot and Magic Screen; the secret word of the day is revealed; kids Elvis, Cher, and Opal bring Pee-wee aluminum foil to add to his giant foil ball, and in return Pee-wee lets them look in on the tiny dinosaur family who reside in his mousehole; Cowboy Curtis captures the snooping Mrs. Steve with his animated lasso; Captain Carl sends a Mayday message from sea and Conky and Globey help Pee-wee guide him to safety; Miss Yvonne stops by and Pee-wee escorts Miss Yvonne to puppetland where they visit with some very cool cats; Dixie arrives and heralds the entrance of King Cartoon with her trumpet; King Cartoon presents a vintage cartoon about animated vegetables runnning amuck in a kitchen; a "Penny" cartoon is shown; Pee-wee makes ice cream soup which is almost ruined by the bullying Randy; Jambi the genie offers Pee-wee a wish. Commercials deleted.
