Summary
The premiere of this comedy series that reunites the characters from the series "What's Happening!!" featuring old high school chums Raj, Rerun, and Dwayne, as well as Shirley, the wisecracking waitress from their neighborhood hangout. As the program begins, Raj and his new wife, Nadine, move into their home, which they have bought from Raj's mother. Suspecting a burglary, Dwayne and Shirley enter the house with baseball bats, but discover the newlyweds instead. After they describe their career paths, Dwayne tells Rerun to hurry over so they can surprise him. Raj expects a joyous homecoming when his friend arrives, but instead Rerun gives him the cold shoulder. Later, Raj and Nadine visit the dilapidated remnants of their old hangout, Rob's Place, where they happen to bump into Dwayne and Rerun. Recollections of high school prompt Rerun and Raj to discuss their dormant fears, clearing up the misunderstanding between them. When Shirley drops by the old diner, she remarks that she had been trying to buy the restaurant, but lacked sufficient funds. Nadine, however, comes up with at a plan that thrills the rest of the group. Commercials deleted.
