KNOTS LANDING: PILOT {SERIES PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
The premiere of this night-time drama serial, spun off from the series "Dallas," about the residents of the small southern California community of Knots Landing. Highlights of this episode include the following: In the first episode, Bobby Ewing helps Gary and Valene Ewing relocate to Knots Landing. Once settled in, they find themselves entangled in a domestic dispute between their neighbors, Karen and Sid Fairgate, and Annie, Sid's troubled teenage daughter from a former marriage. Annie is visiting from Philadelphia, and her promiscuous ways wreak havoc on the close-knit neighborhood. Her behavior is in fact an indirect plea for attention from her father, and Valene befriends the girl and convinces her to talk to her father about her feelings. Commercials deleted.
