Join legendary broadcaster Bob Costas—winner of twenty-nine Emmy Awards, more than any other sports broadcaster, and the only person honored in news, sports, and entertainment—for an unforgettable evening moderated by Budd Mishkin. One of the most respected sports journalists of his generation, Costas has been named “National Sportscaster of the Year” a record eight times and is a proud member of the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Hall of Fame. For more than three decades, he has shaped the way we experience sports with his insight, storytelling, and interviews. Costas will reflect on his distinguished career, especially the important role radio has played, and announce a special donation to the Paley Center of classic interviews from his acclaimed radio series Costas Coast to Coast, featuring landmark conversations with icons like Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, and Arthur Ashe, while exploring how sports coverage has evolved since his NBC debut in 1980.
