It’s been twenty-five years since the premiere of Gilmore Girls, and Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, along with the cast of charming characters from the sleepy town of Stars Hollow, are as present in our hearts as ever. Over seven seasons the fast-talking, quick-witted, coffee-addicted mother-daughter duo navigated relationships, big life decisions (why did Rory drop out of Yale?), and the challenges of growing up. Through it all, they showed us that nothing is stronger than the bond between a mother and daughter—especially when they’re each other’s best friend.
