PAC-MAN on TV

Through April 30, 2026
Gillespie Theater

When Hanna-Barbera introduced the animated PAC-MAN to Saturday morning television in 1982, it was the first TV series based on a videogame. The Paley Museum is pleased to screen an example of that pioneering series along with the 21st century incarnation PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures, a modern CGI animated series that was aimed for a new generation in 2013.  In any version, the PAC-MAN character endures as iconic and emotionally relatable.
