At The Paley Museum, families can enjoy From Storytime to Screentime, a fun, entertaining, and educational program featuring screenings of beloved TV shows inspired by classic children’s books. The program starts with a cozy storytime, where a presenter reads the original book aloud. Afterward, families will watch the TV show adaptation and participate in arts & crafts and activities inspired by the stories. It’s the perfect combination of reading, watching, and playing—only at Paley!
Storytime is free for Paley Members; included in General Admission.

Meet the Very Hungry Caterpillar—he’s starving, and you get to choose his next snack! With construction paper, markers, string, and craft sticks, create a pull-along caterpillar puppet and a snack-on-a-stick for him to munch. Apple or cake? Don’t forget to cut a hole for his first bite!

Ada Twist Scientist: “A Fort of One's Own”/“Twelve Angry Birds”
Eight-year-old scientist Ada and her friends use household items to unlock the door to her brother Arthur’s backyard fort, and later must use science to prove family cat’s innocence when she is accused of drinking water from the bird feeder.
